Our mission

We provide young people, underserved communities and under-represented groups with the enterprise skills and experiences to better prepare them for successful employment or self-employment. We do this through encouraging, educating and empowering the people we serve.

About Peter Jones CBE

The Peter Jones Foundation was set up in 2005 by established entrepreneur and star of Dragons’ Den, Peter Jones CBE.

Business changed Peter’s life and he believed in its potential to change other people’s lives. Over the past 20 years, Peter has been dedicated to bringing entrepreneurship into the hearts of our communities, culture, and curriculum. The pioneering programmes created at the Peter Jones Foundation has helped with his mission of giving every young person the opportunity to start and run a business whilst at school.

How we support

The Foundation supports education from the ages of 5 through to 21.

Encourage

We encourage enterprise and entrepreneurship through our flagship Tycoon Enterprise Competition.

Educate

We support world-class business education through the Peter Jones Enterprise Academy and elective home education programs.

Empower

Empowering graduates into careers, higher education, and entrepreneurship, especially from underserved communities.
